EMPLOY SSE: Promoting Employability through Social Solidarity Economy
The central idea of the project is to implement and promote the framework of Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Vocational and Educational Training (VET). The vision is a comprehensive training and professional development of younger generations, which integrates alternative socioeconomic models in their framework of ideas and attitudes. Although a lot of work has been done on the positive social effects of SSE, less attention has been paid on the positive effect that SSE has on employability, when today, the SSE sector provides paid employment to 6.3% of the working population in the EU-28, compared to 6.5% in 2012. -
Participatory Municipal Budgeting: A democratic experiment
Participatory budgeting (PB) as a form of participatory democracy, the experience and the conclusions from its implementation in municipalities or communities of Greece and Europe, is the subject of the new collaboration of the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Greece and Dock – Social Solidarity Economy Zone, along with Commonspace - Employees' Cooperative. Ιmplemented plans, experiences, results and conclusions, special methodologies and strategies, will be gathered and evaluated in a study in order to create valuable knowledge and utilize the rich existing experiences not only from abroad but also from Greece. -

Ενίσχυση των δεξιοτήτων των εκπαιδευτών της Επαγγελματικής Εκπαίδευσης και Κατάρτισης
Το Dock, συμμετέχει στο πρόγραμμα «SSE_VET2: Ενίσχυση των δεξιοτήτων των εκπαιδευτών στην Επαγγελματική Εκπαίδευση και Κατάρτιση» που υλοποιείται από πέντε ευρωπαϊκές οργανώσεις και την πανευρωπαϊκή δικτύωση για την Κ.ΑΛ.Ο Ripess EU. Το έργο αποσκοπεί στην προώθηση της Κοινωνικής Αλληλέγγυας Οικονομίας (Κ.ΑΛ.Ο) στην Ευρώπη, μέσα από την εκπαίδευση εκπαιδευτών στην επαγγελματική κατάρτιση. Ένας από τους κύριους στόχους, είναι η διερεύνηση της δυνατότητας ανάδειξης νέων δεξιοτήτων των εκπαιδευτών της Ε.Ε.Κ. έτσι ώστε να αναπτυχθεί ένα προφίλ εκπαιδευτή Κ.ΑΛ.Ο. σε διάφορους κλάδους επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης. Αναζητώντας την καινοτομία στα προγράμματα Επαγγελματικής Εκπαίδευσης και Κατάρτισης (E.E.K), επιδιώκουμε να συμβάλουμε στην κοινωνική και επαγγελματική ανάπτυξη των επαγγελματιών, μέσω της ενσωμάτωσης εναλλακτικών κοινωνικοοικονομικών μοντέλων στις ιδέες και τις στάσεις τους -
